The history of Greivjord Mountain Farm dates back to the time of the Black Death that reached Norway in 1349.

Today you will find seven old buildings built in the period from 1786 to 1797. The interior is made during this important period by the highest recommended handcrafters in this area of Telemark.

In 1975 the first road possible to carry a car was finished.

Greivjord Mountain Farm today is an active and working farm situated in a living cultural landscape in one of Norways most beautiful valleys.
